Denmark Tactical: Multiple events, including Half Marathon, slated to take place in Copenhagen on September 19; allot for disruptions

- According to reports, multiple events are slated to take place in Copenhagen on September 19.
- The annual Copenhagen Half Marathon is slated to take place from 09:00 (local time). 20,000 participants are expected to take part in the event. The marathon will run from Osterbro over Norrebro, Frederiksberg, Vesterbro, Indre By, and back to Osterbro. Details on the marathon route can be found here. The entire route is closed to vehicular traffic until 15:00. Public transportation routes will be altered accordingly.
- Additionally, Norrebrogade will be closed to vehicular traffic between 14:00-19:00 due to the commemoration of “Car-free Sunday.”
- At 18:00, a football tournament is scheduled to take place at Parken Stadium in the Inner Osterbro district.
