Turkey Tactical: Government to impose nationwide lockdown from April 29 to May 17; adhere to government instructions
Please be advised:
- Turkey’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced that a nationwide lockdown will be implemented between 19:00 (local time), on April 29 and 05:00, on May 17.
- All workplaces will be required to suspend their activities for the duration of the lockdown, except for those that will be given approval by the Interior Ministry.
- All intercity travel will require a special permit from the authorities.
- Intercity public transportation will be limited to 50 percent capacity.
- The measure is being taken to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Those operating or residing in Turkey between 19:00 (local time), on April 29 and 05:00, on May 17 are advised to adhere to government instructions and take necessary precautions to ensure business continuity due to the imposition of a nationwide lockdown during this period.
