Turkey Tactical: Water cuts slated in nine districts of Istanbul from 09:00 (local time) until 22:00 on June 1; take necessary precautions to ensure business continuity
Please be advised:
- The Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI) stated that water cuts are slated in nine districts of Istanbul between 09:00 (local time) and 22:00 on June 1.
- The water cuts will be in effect across the following districts: Adalar, Kartal, Maltepe, Pendik, Sultanbeyli, Tuzla, and Umraniye districts. In addition, multiple neighborhoods in Sancaktepe and Uskudar districts will also experience water cuts.
- The disruptions are due to maintenance work at water treatment infrastructure.
Recommendations:
Those operating or residing in the aforementioned areas in Istanbul between 09:00 (local time) and 22:00 on June 1 are advised to ensure an adequate supply of bottled water and consider accumulating water in appropriate, sealable containers to provide for essential activities, including hygiene and cooking requirements due to the slated water cuts.
