• Feminist activists associated with the Coordinadora de Feminismos UY are slated to hold a demonstration at Plaza Libertad, also known as Plaza de Cagancha, in Montevideo at 18:30 (local time) on November 16. 
• The protest is being held to denounce two femicides recorded in the last week.  

1. Given the mobilization capacity of the group involved, the protest is likely to draw a turnout in the low hundreds. A bolstered security presence can be anticipated in the vicinity of Plaza Libertad during the evening hours to monitor proceedings.  
2. The protest is expected to transpire largely peacefully. However, due to the heightened sentiments surrounding the recent femicides, small-scale scuffles between protesters and police are possible.
3. Localized disruptions to pedestrian and vehicular traffic can be anticipated in the vicinity of Plaza Libertad from 18:30 onwards.
