Israel & Jordan Tactical: 4.2 magnitude earthquake recorded in Israel’s Dead Sea area during morning hours of January 15; maintain heightened vigilance for aftershocks

  • The earthquake registered a 4.2 magnitude on the Richter scale, with the epicenter located 19 km east of southern Israel’s Dimona. Tremors were reportedly felt in the area, including in Jordan’s Amman and in Israel.
