Jordan Tactical: Authorities issue inclement weather warnings for Jordan for February 3; take necessary precautions
Current Situation:
- Jordan’s Public Security Directorate warned that rain, strong winds, and colder temperatures will spread across the Kingdom on February 3.
- Authorities have also warned of the risks of flash flooding in the northern and central regions, and in some eastern areas on February 3.

On February 2, the Greater Amman Municipality announced a state of emergency to prepare for the expected inclement weather that will affect the Kingdom.

- Those operating or residing in Jordan on February 3 are advised to take necessary precautions due to the forecasted inclement weather conditions. Remain abreast of any updates and guidelines issued by authorities during this period.
- In case of flood warnings, immediately evacuate to higher ground. Once the higher ground has been reached, do not attempt to evacuate the wider region alone, and seek professional assistance with evacuations.
