Israel Tactical (UPDATE): Israel Air Force to hold exercises over Jerusalem area on May 12; remain cognizant
Current Situation:
- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter aircraft and helicopters will carry out training exercises in preparation for Yom HaZikaron’s (Memorial Day) flyby in the Jerusalem area.
- Training will start from the morning hours of May 12 and continue throughout the day.
- The relatively extensive aerial activity will be noticeable to civilians.
Recommendations:
Those operating or residing in and around Jerusalem on May 12 are advised to remain cognizant of the planned IAF training exercises. No special action is required.
