• Unionized workers of a mining and metallurgical company will stage a protest at  Evelpidon Courthouse in Athens, from 10:00 (local time) on June 18. 
• This protest has been organized to demand improved working conditions and equipment. 

1. Given precedent, the protest is expected to attract a turnout in the mid-to-high hundreds. 
2. Based on the nature of the protest issue, the demonstration is expected to transpire largely peacefully and without instances of unrest. Regardless, authorities are likely to deploy a bolstered security presence near the protest location to monitor proceedings. 
3. Significant disruptions to pedestrian and vehicular movement are expected near the protest location during the morning hours. 

Those operating or residing in Athens on June 18 are advised to allot for disruptions to vehicular and pedestrian traffic near the Evelpidon Courthouse during the morning hours due to the protest.
