Reports indicate that protests will take place in multiple cities nationwide, including Paris, on June 5.
The protests are being organized by several trade unions, including the Confederation Generale du Travail (CGT), Federation Syndicale Unitaire (FSU), and Confederation Nationale du Travail (CNT), demanding the abolition of the retirement age of 64, the return to retirement at 60 years of age, and increases in pensions and wages.
These protests coincide with a vote in the National Assembly, where deputies will decide whether to repeal the retirement age of 64.

In Paris, a protest will take place at the Ecole Militaire, located in the 7th arrondissement, at 14:00 (local time).

Another protest in Paris will be held in front of the Prefecture de Paris, located at 5 Rue Leblanc, at 10:00.

Based on similar protests held previously, the slated protests in Paris are likely to witness a combined turnout in the range of high thousands to low tens of thousands, whereas the protests in other cities will likely witness turnouts in the range of high hundreds to low thousands each.
