• Further, reports suggest that two counter-protests are slated to be held at the same location on the day. However, the timings of the counter-protests remain confirmed at this time.

Further, the police may resort to forcible measures such as tear gas, water cannons, and conducting mass arrests to disperse crowds in the event of unrest or if the demonstrators do not comply with COVID-19 regulations. With this, a bolstered police presence in central Berlin is expected to be deployed to maintain public order.
2. Based on organizers’ estimates, the combined turnout for the protests is likely to be in the high hundreds to the low thousands. Disruptions to vehicular and pedestrian movement may be anticipated from the morning hours onwards.
