Ghana Tactical: Ongoing indefinite strike by workers at Kotoka International Airport on February 26; allot for disruptions

- According to a communique posted on social media, the Public Services Workers’ Union (PSWU) of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has embarked on an ongoing indefinite strike at Kotoka International Airport in Accra on February 26.
- The communique notes that services affected by the strike include, the screening of pre-board passengers and access control, Fire & Safety cover for all aircraft, water supply, and sewage treatment, and public announcements and display of flights.
- The TUC states that the strike is due to the Airport administration’s decision to shelve a report of an investigative commission, which allegedly confirms that the Managing Director of the airport was guilty of mismanagement and abuse of office.
