• Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s leaders from West Bengal are slated to hold a demonstration from 11:00 (local time) at Raj Ghat, Delhi on July 21.
• The protest is being held to denounce the alleged political violence in the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC)-governed West Bengal.   

Turnout at the demonstration is expected to reach the mid-to-high dozens based on the mobilization capabilities of the organizers. Participation is expected to be bolstered due to the presence of prominent BJP leaders from West Bengal in Delhi due to the ongoing Parliament session. Given the significance of July 21 to the TMC, which commemorates the police firing at party workers in 1993, the BJP party workers are liable to bolster turnout to distract from the issue. Security is expected to be bolstered in the vicinity of the Raj Ghat due to the sensitive nature of the location and the presence of prominent leaders. There remains a latent risk of minor clashes should the police resort to forceful dispersal measures, especially if the demonstration becomes too large. As such, localized disruptions to travel can also be expected. 

Those operating or residing in Delhi on July 21 are advised to maintain vigilance due to the slated protest and allot for localized disruptions to travel.
