India Tactical: Multiple traffic advisories in effect across Delhi until March 31; allot for disruptions

Current Situation:

  • The Delhi Traffic Police announced that traffic will be affected between SDM/Swaroop Nagararea and Vijay Chowk until March 31.
  • The traffic authorities advise motorists traveling from Vijay Chowk to use the route via Gurjar Chowk, Gurudwara Road, Jhanda Chowk, Bhalaswa Landfill Kuda Khatta, Nala Road, and the SDM Office in Swaroop Nagar.
  • Motorists traveling from the SDM Office or Swaroop Nagar Nala Road are advised to proceed toward Bhalaswa Landfill Kuda Khatta via CC Road up to Jhanda Chowk to proceed towards Burari Chowk.
  • The authorities announced traffic disruptions between Bhagwan Mahavir Marg and Dwarkadeesh Chowk in the Rohini neighborhood until March 11.
  • Traffic will be affected across the stretch between Bhagwan Mahavir Marg and Dwarkadeesh Chowk, Kailash Nath Katju (KNK) Marg, and the stretch from Bhagwan Mahavir Marg connecting Nala Road. 
  • The Delhi Traffic Police advises motorists travelling from Bhagwan Mahavir Marg to KNK Marg to use Bahadur Shah Marg, Pansali Chowk, Bawana Road, Mahadev Chowk, Saint Xavier School, and KNK Marg in both directions.
  • Traffic restrictions will be in place in Delhi on February 12, 13, 16, and 18, and March 1 between 09:00-11:30 (local time) due to the ICC Men’s T-20 Cricket World Cup at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
  • The traffic authorities advise commuters to avoid Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, Delhi Gate to Jawahar Lal Nehru (JLN) Marg, Darya Ganj to Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, as well as Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road between 09:00-14:00 on February 16 and 18, between 14:00-17:00 on February 13 and March 1, and between 18:00-23:30 on February 12.
