Tunisia Tactical (UPDATE): President imposes nationwide curfew between 19:00-06:00 (local time) from July 26 to August 27; adhere to instructions
Please be advised:
- During the evening hours of July 26, President Kais Saied published a presidential decree imposing a nationwide daily curfew between 19:00 and 06:00 (local time), from July 26 to August 27.
- Exceptions will be made for urgent medical cases and for some employees that work at night.
- This followed President Saied’s suspension of parliament and assumption of all executive power on July 25.
- Previously, a nationwide night curfew between 20:00 and 05:00 was in place.
Recommendations:
Those operating or residing in Tunisia between July 26 and August 27 are advised to adhere to government instructions and take necessary precautions to ensure business continuity, due to the travel restrictions imposed by the President.
