Turkey Tactical: Authorities issue nationwide inclement weather warnings for March 18-24; maintain vigilance
Current Situation:
- Turkey’s General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) issued nationwide weather warnings beginning on March 18 and lasting until March 24.
- Temperatures are expected to fall by 10-15 degrees Celsius in northwestern areas of the country, including Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir, with temperatures in Ankara expected to drop to minus four degrees Celsius.
- The MGM also forecasts rain and showers in Turkey’s western regions and prospects for frost and icing in parts of the country.
