UK Tactical: Multiple protests slated to take place in London on November 26; allot for disruptions

  • Reports indicate that multiple protests are slated to take place in London on November 26.  
  • NHS Workers Say No, an activist group representing NHS employees, will stage a demonstration on the Westminster Bridge at 12:30 (local time). The protest is being held to demand government action on wage-related issues and inadequate staffing in the NHS. An associated rally will also be held at Old Palace Yard from 14:00.  
  • Additionally, a protest has been planned by the worker-led trade union, Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers Union (CAIWU), at 10 Brock Street from 16:00. The protest is being held to denounce the working conditions of the cleaning staff of a prominent social media company.
  • Multiple activist groups, including the Global Women’s Strike, will hold a protest outside the Indian High Commission in London at 12:00. The demonstration is organized to mark the one-year anniversary of farmers’ protests that took place in India in 2020.
