• According to Verkehrsinformationszentrale, Berlin’s traffic information service, a security operation to defuse a World War II-era aerial bomb will take place in Berlepschstrasse in Zehlendorf neighborhood of Berlin from 08:00 (local time) on March 2.
• A security cordon of 500 meters will be set up surrounding the ordnance disposal site.  
• The slated duration of the disposal operation remains unconfirmed as of writing. 
• An emergency shelter will be set up for the affected residents in the Ernst-Reuter-Sporthalle in Onkel-Tom-Strasse. 
• Local media reports suggest that the operations of the S-Bahn Line 1 rail services and Behring Hospital will be affected.  

Those operating or residing in Berlin on March 20 are advised to allot for travel-related disruptions in the vicinity of Berlepschstrasse from the morning hours onwards due to the planned bomb disposal operation.
